One of the many benefits that yoga offers is toning. If toning is your primary goal, try and look for a yoga class that is more intense in nature and gets you holding positions for a longer period of time. Because you will have to work against your body weight when doing so, this type of yoga will have greater strengthening and toning benefits than other forms would. Finally, add some cardio training to your yoga program in effort to speed up the fat loss process, so then you can reveal your newly toned muscles.
