Cardio training for weight loss

Using cardio training to help you lose weight can be a very smart move as long as you are performing the right type of cardio workout. When doing your cardio, try as much as possible to do interval type of training where you will go harder for a brief period of time, and then follow this up with an easier portion. Doing so will increase the metabolism more, and thus allow you to see weight loss at a much faster rate. The body tends to adapt to steady state workouts so these are generally not the best way to optimize how you look.

Aqua running

A great way for heavier individuals to lose weight is aqua running. Because aqua running does not place any stress on the body, there is a much lower chance that these individuals will become injured while participating in it.
