Multigyms
All multi gyms UK offer a huge variety of exercise options and can be used to improve strength, build muscle and condition major muscle groups. Look for ones that are sturdy and strong, and consider how easy the changes between exercises are as well as the general standard of the frame and cabling in particular. Most multi gyms offer the same core exercises such as leg extension/curl, lat pulldown, chest press, low pulley, butterfly and so on, but check also that the accessories you'll need are included and that the seats and pads are comfortable and well padded.
Be aware also that most multi gyms are designed for people with 'average' dimensions and may not be comfortable or easy to use for particularly tall, small or large individuals. The need to warm up carefully and stretch is also essential, and remember that results will take time so build your strength carefully and be patient so as to avoid injury and ensure that you get the results you're after.
