Exercise bikes
Without doubt, exercise bikes are still the favourite and are very very popular for a number of reasons. For one, they are easy to use and provide an excellent cardio-vascular workout as well as encouraging weight loss and helping to tone all of the major muscle groups. Look for sturdy exercise bikes with adjustable positioning to ensure you're as comfortable as possible and consider the feedback you'll find useful to monitor your progress.
For those needing additional motivation or guidance a cycle with programs is also a good idea. Most modern exercise bikes use magnetic resistance and this is usually both quiet and smooth, however the better the cycle, the better the feeling and response. As with many forms of exercising it is better to train 'little and often' and build your fitness gradually over time, charting your progress and adding variety to your training wherever possible to keep yourself motivated and enjoying yourself.
